INSTRUM® PRESSURE REGULATORS – The Original!

INSTRUM® PRESSURE REGULATORS – The Original!

We apply pressure … in tanks, reactors, vessels, centrifuges and continuous agitated reactors in the process engineering industry.

INSTRUM® is working successfully world-wide for more than 30 years in the development, construction and manufacturing of pressure regulators for tank blanketing and inerting. INSTRUM® pressure regulators can be generally used in liquids and gases, particularly in corrosion-proof applications.

We offer suitable regulators made of corrosion-resistant materials for blanketing of liquids with an inert gas atmosphere. We design and build systems for tank blanketing, inerting, product transfer and sterilization, with particular focus on self actuated mechanical regulators which work without auxiliary power. These include pressure regulators for reduction, relief, negative and differential pressure, check valves for positive and negative pressure. The INSTRUM
® approach enables you to reduce significantly your installation and running costs while increasing operational reliability.

One important part in the product range is the low pressure regulators. They have typically big diaphragms …

Precise pressure regulators are used particularly in test stands and in many industrial applications where pressure must always be regulated very precisely. The new INSTRUM
® stainless steel precise pressure regulators are especially suited for the use in highly corrosive liquids.

The construction of the INSTRUM
® regulators is suited for nearly all technical gases. It is also for highly combustible gases, corrosive gases, toxic gases that are hazardous to health and environmentally harmful gases because they fulfill the highest requirements on gas tightness.

INSTRUM
® regulators are used often in demineralized water applications or in applications with high requirements on chemical resistance. Viton-, Kalrez- or Chemraz seals are used as a standard.

Special needs in frontiers of chemistry, often require the highest resistance of materials used. Be-sides hastelloy, also other high-quality plastic materials can be supplied.

Apart from inerting, blanketing can also be necessary to keep the tank in a safe condition for construction. For these applications, INSTRUM
® can supply check valves or flaps with very low opening pressures.

Low pressure regulators are typically use for inerting installations. Based on the flexible and variable INSTRUM
® construction principle, all kinds of chemical tanks can be equipped.
